Askin Nakk le Vaar - Sternritter Encyclopedia

Finally, my favourite Sternritter gets an entry. I'm honestly really happy with it too - at first I was considering a more serious pose, but in the end I went for a goofy one - it's more animated that way!

Askin really was one of the best Sternritter. I feel like, even if you didn't like him as a character, you can't deny that he was one of the best characters from the Wandenreich. Kubo made a huge mistake in cutting his fight with Urahara and Grimmjow short to focus on the Gerard fight in my opinion - every character involved in the Askin fight was way more interesting and had far more to offer. Having said that, what we did get is great and is one of the best fights in the series. Askin goes out like a boss as well. All that's really missing is a flashback, but at the same time, we get such a good idea of his character anyway it's almost not necessary. Would've still liked it though and I feel he deserved it. Askin is one of the few Sternritter to actually have his own agenda and motive, making him infinitely more interesting than most.
